Latest Al-Qaeda Underwear Bomber Is A Double Agent

Friday, May 18th, 2012

from Mort Amsel, BIN

The would-be suicide bomber dispatched by theYemen branch of Al Qaeda last month to blow up a United States-bound airliner was actually a double agent who infiltrated the terrorist group and volunteered for the suicide mission, American and foreign officials said Tuesday.

In an extraordinary intelligence coup, the agent left Yemen, traveling by way of the United Arab Emirates, and delivered both the innovative bomb designed for his air attack and critical information on the group’s leaders to the C.I.A., Saudi and other foreign intelligence agencies.

After spending weeks at the center of the terrorist network’s most dangerous affiliate, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, the agent provided critical information that permitted the C.I.A. to direct the drone strike on Sunday that killed Fahd Mohammed Ahmed al-Quso, the group’s external operations director and a suspect in the bombing of the American destroyer Cole in Yemen in 2000.

He also handed over the bomb, designed by the group’s top explosives expert to be invisible to airport security, to the F.B.I., which is analyzing its properties.

Officials would not disclose the agent’s identity, nationality, or the intelligence service that recruited him, though they said it was not the C.I.A. The agent is now safe in Saudi Arabia, officials said. The bombing plot was kept secret for weeks by the C.I.A. and other agencies because they feared retaliation against the agent and his family.

I Pocket Knife: A Tale of Petty Tyranny and the TSA

Friday, May 18th, 2012

by Sam Staley, II

By the time you read this, I’m probably little more than a glob of metal, like so many millions of my brothers and sisters. And I did nothing wrong. For a while, I blamed my owner—didn’t he know that the TSA wouldn’t let him take me on an airplane? But, of course he did. In fact, his diligence in trying to protect me is partly responsible for the mental slip that flipped me into the box with all the other innocents, victimized by the bureaucratic absurdity of US airport security rules. Yet, avoiding that slip would have meant keeping me in a dark drawer, and, for a pocket knife, that is a life not lived.

I know this because my owner had held on to me for 27 years. I know exactly when I was born, because I was a loving gift from his girlfriend and future wife. And I was practical, which made the thoughts behind her gift all the more special to my owner. And it gave me purpose. We’ve been through a lot: I have scraped ice from the nozzles of frozen hose couplings used to make snow at a ski area in subzero weather. I have stripped electrical wire forty feet in the air. I have cut scores of feet of duck tape for various types of repairs. I’ve opened hundreds of presents and gifts under Christmas trees and at birthday parties. I opened the box to my owner’s first published novel. Most recently, I opened the boxes of local authors at a spring festival, releasing fresh ideas and creative genius onto an unsuspecting public. I reveled in the joy and satisfaction I brought to my owner, his children, and the scores of people I helped, even in the smallest ways, through their everyday lives.

But there are some things that my owner and I never did. We never cut a person or animal. I was never opened out of anger. I was never used to threaten, cajole or intimidate. My owner simply would not have done that. I should know since, until that sad day in April, I was his companion for more than half of his life.

I have every reason to be livid at my owner. How could he let this happen?

One look on his face when the TSA agent pulled me from his backpack was enough for me to comprehend the emotional pain his oversight caused. My anger melted with his hopes and dreams. Gone was the surety of knowing I would be there to help him with tasks simple and big. Gone was the warm comfort of being there at holidays and birthdays. Gone was the plan that I would be passed down to his son at the right time. And, most importantly, gone was a cherished symbol of affection that he had so carefully protected until that fateful error at the airport.

And the TSA security guard knew, too: Seeing my owner’s expression, he asked him twice if he wanted to go back and mail it home. And my heart sank along with his dispirited voice as my owner uttered the inevitable “no.” He had already waited in line too long, and if he went back through security he would miss his plane. Cancelling meetings and paying hundreds of dollars in rebooking fees was simply too much, even with our long attachment and personal bond.

No, I am not angry at my owner. I am not even angry at the TSA employee. I am angry at the TSA. Despite all the technology available to them and other law enforcement agencies, they couldn’t figure out that a middle-aged man in a stable marriage, with no criminal record, with two decades of steady professional employment, two well-adjusted teenage kids, and more than 500,000 frequent flier miles under his belt was not a threat to himself or the passengers on that plane. In fact, to the TSA, my owner was indistinguishable from the Jihadists that murdered thousands of innocents more than a decade ago. He was invisible, not even a cog in the wheel. He was a nonperson, without rights or claims to civil liberties. In that airport, he lived a life contingent on the good graces of government and its bureaucratic rules, not his record or good deeds or contributions to society.

Perhaps the only thing worse than the absurdity of my confiscation is the fact the TSA consciously and self-righteously tramples on the very civil liberties that this nation was founded to protect. The consequence of these petty tyrannies is not just my demise, but a break in the very bonds that keep humans and families together. They sap the willpower and personal strength of a civil society founded to stand up against larger tyrannies. And they cede the power of life, freedom, and mobility to the rule followers and the small minds that can’t distinguish between real and imagined threats to persons and property. I deserve better. My owner deserves better. Americans deserve better. But it’s too late for me.

Pfizer and Merck under investigation for colluding with Obama Administration on health care overhaul

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

by Ethan A. Huff, NaturalNews

Most Americans have no idea what truly went on behind closed doors during the crafting and illegitimate passing of Obamacare, also known as thePatient Protection and Affordable Care Act. But a congressional investigation currently underway is seeking to unearth the dirty details, including how drug giants like Pfizer Inc. and Merck Co. greased the financial wheels to make sure their pharmaceuticals received preferential treatment as part of the health care overhaul.

As reported by Bloomberg, Republicans from the House Energy and Commerce Committee have been toiling for roughly a year now to obtain key documents, emails and other pertinent information exposing the truth about Big Pharma’s role in the creation of Obamacare. But to date, neither the Obama White House nor Big Pharma has cooperated in any significant way in releasinganyof this information, according to the committee.

“This has been like pulling teeth, trying to get information,” said Congressman Michael Burgess (R-Tex.), to Bloomberg. Besides Pfizer and Merck, drug companies Amgen Inc., Abbott Laboratories and AstraZeneca are also being pressed by Rep. Burgess and his allies for information, as are industry lobbyists, lawyers, and several doctor and hospital groups.

What is it they hope to find? To start, it is already clear that Big Pharma agreed to provide price discounts on drugs in exchange for their being covered as part of Obamacare. But other secret deals between Obama and the drug industry were likely made as well, and Rep. Burgess wants to know what those were and under what terms they were negotiated.

“For [Big Pharma], the ACA (Obamacare) is a gift, bringing in anywhere between 30 – 40 million people who could not previously afford pharmaceuticals,” Peter Pitts from theCenter for Medicine in the Public Interestis quoted as saying by Medical Marketing and Media.

Meanwhile, at least 26 U.S. states are currently challenging the constitutionality of Obamacare, and the Supreme Court is expected to rule on the constitutionality of Obamacare in late June.

This potential nullification of Obamacare at both the state and federal levels would obviously also nullify the special deals made between the Obama White House and Big Pharma. But for the time being, full disclosure and transparency — which was the hallmark rhetoric of the Obama campaign from the beginning — is in due order.

What Will They Say To Say To Shadrach, Meshach, And Abednego?

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

by Chuck Baldwin

Let me start with a story. A man who had survived the great Johnstown flood died and went to Heaven. And not long after, all of the inhabitants of Heaven were allowed to take center stage and tell everyone about the most significant event that had happened to them while on Earth. The man couldn’t wait to tell everyone about his surviving the great Johnstown flood. After a long wait in line, it was finally his turn. The man was so excited to tell everyone his story. But just as he was climbing the stairs to the platform, an angel leaned over to him and whispered, “Don’t forget; Noah is in the audience.”

I am reminded of that story when I read the Scriptural passage in Hebrews 12: “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses.” The witnesses the Apostle speaks of are the great champions who have gone on before us, which are mentioned in chapter eleven. Included by implication in the great “Hall of Faith” of Hebrews 11 are the three young Hebrews: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (verse 34, “Quenched the violence of fire.”)

So, what was it that got these three young men included in this list that along with the likes of Abraham, Moses, and David? You’ll find their story in Daniel chapter three. In a nutshell, they refused to bow down to the image of the king. In other words, THEY DISOBEYED A CIVIL GOVERNMENT THAT HAD BECOME TYRANNICAL. And for refusing to submit to the king, they were thrown into a burning fiery furnace.

Come to think of it, many of the people named in the Hebrews 11 “Hall of Faith” got there because of civil disobedience. Speaking of Moses, the Scripture says, “By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king.” So, when did Moses forsake Egypt? When he killed the Egyptian taskmaster who was beating a Hebrew slave to death. That’s when!

Rahab is also mentioned in this Biblical “Hall of Faith.” Who was Rahab, and what did she do? She was a prostitute who lied to government soldiers and helped the Hebrew spies escape the city of Jericho. Gideon, Barak, Samson, and Jephthae are also listed. Who are they, and what did they do? They were men who led armed rebellions against oppressive governments to which they had been subject.

Daniel is inferred in Hebrews 11 when it says, “Stopped the mouths of lions.” What did he do? He refused to submit to his civil government when commanded to not pray aloud (for only thirty days). And for refusing to submit to his government, he was cast into a den of hungry lions. Yes, God delivered Daniel from the lions and the three young Hebrews from the burning furnace of fire. But the point is, they each DISOBEYED civil government, and God brags on them for it in Hebrews 11.

So, what are all these “Romans 13-ers” going to say to Daniel, Moses, and Gideon when they get to Heaven? What are they going to say to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? What are they going to say to those men who “overthrew kingdoms” (Heb. 11:33), “waxed valiant in combat” (vs. 34), and “turned to flight . . . armies”? (Armies are government-sanctioned, government-supported, government-ordered entities–vs. 34.)

I cannot count the number of times I have heard some TV or radio preacher say something to the effect, “Well, I’m glad we were given freedom here in the United States, but our Founding Fathers were wrong to rebel against the British Crown. According to Romans 13, they should have submitted to King George.” Barf! Gag! Spit! What hypocrisy!

To all of the Romans 13 Pharisees out there, I say, if you are really going to believe and preach that garbage, at least be honest enough to stop celebrating Independence Day on July 4. It was the day when men became traitors to Great Britain and officially declared a revolutionary war. And stop flying the Stars and Stripes in your church auditoriums. It was the flag of rebellion. How dare you say America’s founders violated Romans 13 in one breath and with the next breath say you thank God for the freedom that was purchased AT THE SACRIFICE OF THE BLOOD OF THE MEN YOU SAY VIOLATED ROMANS 13! Pardon me, but I just cannot think of anything that is more hypocritical than that!

And remember this about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: it was AFTER they disobeyed their king and were thrown into the furnace of fire that they met the Son of God. It was King Nebuchadnezzar who said, “I see four men loose . . . the fourth is like the Son of God.” (Daniel 3:25)

Think about it: where did Moses meet the Lord? In the wilderness by a burning bush after he had defied Egyptian tyranny by killing an Egyptian taskmaster who was beating a Hebrew slave to death. Where did Gideon meet the Lord? In a threshing floor as he willowed his grain in defiance of evil civil authority. When did Stephen meet the Lord? When political and religious leaders were stoning him to death for refusing to submit to their iniquitous injunctions. And think of this, too: where did the Lord Jesus meet man? On a bloody Roman cross–being placed there by the civil and religious rulers of His day.

Most Christians today are looking to meet the Lord in a heated or air conditioned church sanctuary with padded pews and ornate windows, with an orchestra playing and a choir singing, and fried chicken waiting for them after the service. But that’s not where you’re going to find the Fourth Man.

When you resist the religious Pharisees who are trying to intimidate and coerce you into submitting to their legalism and tyranny, then you will see the Fourth Man. When you resist the power establishment that demands that you accept their politically correct philosophies and ideologies, then you will see the Fourth Man. When you refuse to be bought, bribed, or bullied by the “good old boy” network that seeks to control you, then you will see the Fourth Man. When you resist your family and friends who try to shame you into abandoning the principles of liberty and freedom that God, Himself, has planted in your heart, then you will see the Fourth Man. When you are threatened and persecuted and you say, “I must obey God rather than men,” then you will see the Fourth Man.

Do you really think you’re going to find the One who went to a bloody cross in a meadow of roses? The only roses He knew were the ones whose thorns were smashed on his skull. You won’t find him in a garden, unless it’s the Garden of Gethsemane. You’ll find the One who went to the Cross in the same place that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego found Him: in the Burning Fiery Furnace.

God said told us that when we pass through the floodwaters, and when we walk through the fire, we would find Him to be with us. (Isaiah 43:2)

Of course, let me be careful to say that real Christians are peacemakers. They desire to live a quiet and peaceable life with their neighbors, their civil authorities, and even with other nations. They readily recognize and respect lawful, God-ordained authority. But, at the same time, they will not surrender that which is holy and give it to swine! They absolutely will not become toadies for unlawful government that attempts to usurp the God-given authority and jurisdiction to which it has been divinely assigned!

I am often reminded of this quote from Mahatma Gandhi: “There are, I am sorry to say, many Temples in our midst in this country which are no better than brothels.”

Gandhi’s quote could be said of many so-called churches in America today, for they, too, have become little more than glorified brothels that pimp for the government. “Submit! Obey! Don’t resist!” they constantly preach. I wonder what they will say one day to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego?

Religions And Political Parties: What’s The Difference?

Wednesday, May 16th, 2012

by Clint Richardson

In my last article, I revealed that the Social Security System has been implemented in over 130 countries, that it is run by the United Nations and World Bank, and that it was created by the League of Nations 8 years before it was implemented in the United States. I then referred to this system and the Social Security number as the precursor to the Number of the Mark of the Beast.

Link here

Surprised by the response, I was truly disappointed at the comments left by readers. I found the rigidness of their religious dogma disturbing to say the least, literally bypassing the facts presented in lieu of correcting biblical citations and interpretations. And thus, I started thinking about how religion often takes people away from not only knowledge itself – but from God Himself; how the legal system takes the simplicity out of God’s law to do no harm; how corporations like pharmaceuticals take God’s natural healing out of medicine; and – depending on which of the over 1,000 one true religions they are a member of – how similar the joining of a religion is to the joining of a political party. And so I came up with the following list…

?

Religion and Political Parties
What’s the Difference?

?

Both start out with a corporate charter of beliefs by the leaders of that religion or political party.

These charters and beliefs are claimed by both entities to be divinely inspired.

Both change these charters and beliefs as times change, as technology improves, as law requires it, and as opposing knowledge and books become more accessible to the public at large.

Both are registered with the State via their Articles of Incorporation.

Both write and re-write history; and then edit and interpret their own writings.

They are both a form of control, both in political and moralcorrectness.

Members of both fear excommunication and public ridicule for questioning or acting against these chartered beliefs.

Political parties make the laws of the land and command consent, while religions teach that members must follow the “law of the land” as God commands.

Both give power to otherwise powerless men, who dress in robes and judge all people.

Political parties call law the Bible. Religions call the Bible the law.

Both must swear upon and to the bible (God) before giving testimony.

Both project a public persona that each is separate from the other…

Yet both are hopelessly intertwined.

You must be registered to both to be a member…

If you are not registered to both, your voice doesn’t count and your vote is not counted.

You are allowed to change political parties or religions at any time – as long as you are in one of them and aren’t thinking for yourself.

Both claim to be transparent and honest, doing their deeds in the light…

Yet both are well known to hide some of their deeds in the dark; without disclosure, and even against the very ethics they set for themselves.

Both claim to be non-profit…

And both avoid taxes on their for-profit ventures.

One allows atonement of sin through faith, followed by probationary good behavior…

The other allows atonement of sin through prison (or execution), followed by probationary good behavior…

And both offer these atoning people free bibles and religious last rights.

Both include many minority races and creeds…

And both focus those cultural differences into one divinely inspired political focus – to the detriment of any minorities who won’t consent or believe.

Both are non-governmental corporations that heavily influence government and politics.

Both have a list of ten things for which many of their beliefs are influenced in a major way…

Both preach these rights, ethics, morals, and family values virtually non-stop…

Both continuously break their promises to uphold these or live by example.

Both have been caught many times over in pedophilia related activities…

Both are very protective of this fact and the people involved in these activities…

Both have public relations officers to handle the public’s outrage at these actions so as to ensure the continuity of the corporation…

And both are protected from these crimes and from any major public scrutiny or punishment by the court system (BAR) and in the mainstream media (Public Opinion).

Both are the subjects of countless jokes made in poor taste.

Both rely on the ignorance of their members with regards to their business related and political activities…

And both despise watch-dog groups.

Both accept and rely on donations.

Both have leaders that wear expensive suits and receive very good pensions.

Both promise hope and change to the poor and working class, but never quite deliver.

Both offer a welfare system that’s never quite enough to really make a difference in society… other than to maintain the poverty level.

“In God We Trust” is the credo of both – after all, it says so on the thing they both worship the most.

Both have national and international rules and codes…

Both have members who do not question these rules or their leaders for fear of public ostracizing and ridicule.

Both have a healthy fear of some of the other well-connected-to-each-other members.

Both adhere to strict political correctness in public…

Yet both talk badly about other members behind their backs, and sometimes even in public forums or elections.

Both affect the lives of every person in the world… whether those people are members or not.

Both claim that they know what is best for We, the People.

Both declare that they are the one true and only way to salvation…

Both promise this eventual salvation from tyranny and evil – if only their members will have faith in them and wait patiently, for long enough…

Of course, both have been making this promise for many, many, many generations.

Both blame every other political party or religion for all of the problems in the world.

Both influence and help to define and legislate the legal definition of marriage…

Both cooperate and promote marriage as a legally binding contract where the State is the third party and legal owner of the fruits (children) of that marriage…

And both veil this legal contract in God’s will and blessing; providing marriage “ceremonies” and “services”.

Both claim that the constitution of the United States was divinely inspired, despite the opposite opinions of the personal writings of many of the founding fathers (prophets) that signed it.

Sadly, both believe and falsely preach that the right to congregate in public and worship comes from the constitution and “Bill Of Rights” instead of from God Himself.

Both are effusively and irrevocably supportive of the illegal “State” of Israel.

Both define Jews as the chosen people.

Both are more afraid of AIPAC and the ADL than of the devil himself.

Both are heavily influenced by the United Nations.

The CIA and other government agencies have infiltrated both.

Government regulates both.

And yet both pay little or no taxes to government.

—?—

And after all of this… do you still wonder who came up with the
rule that you shouldn’t discuss religion or politics in mixed company?

—?—
